The City of Macon Narcotics Unit developed information regarding a large amount of marijuana being sent to a Milledgeville address. The unit made contact with the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force to glean additional information regarding the shipment and contents.

Collaborating with the Milledgeville Police Department and GBI, at approximately 1452 hours/2:52 p.m,. the four agencies jointly arrested 22 year-old Juan Rodriguez on North Jefferson Street in Milledgeville. Rodriguez was in possession of approximately 1.3 pounds of high grade marijuana with a street value of $4800.

MPD commends the Ocmulgee Task Force, Milledgeville Police Department and GBI for their fine work confiscating the marijuana and arresting Juan Rodiguez.
