The Macon Police Department conducted one of its periodic prostitution details.  Additional checks were made for drug activity in several other areas of the city in a continuing effort to thwart criminal activity. Arrests made in the Brentwood Avenue area: 

1. Tammy Hall, 44 year-old black female
    Charge: Prostitution, Obstruction – Court Order (2)
    5 arrests in Bibb County 

2. Keisha Charley, 33 year-old black female
    Charges: Prostitution, Theft by Conversion – Felony 
    9 arrests in Bibb County 

3. Maureen Elizabeth Hatchett aka Tonya Anderson, 25 year-old black female
    Charges: Prostitution, Cocaine Possession, False Information
    9 arrests in Bibb County

4. Kathleen Anderson, 49 year-old white female
    Charge: Prostitution
    1 arrest in Bibb County

According to Macon Police Chief Mike Burns, “Details such these involving prostitution and drugs are ongoing missions within MPD. We continually monitor these illegal activities throughout Macon – covertly and openly, to prevent, reduce and control criminal activity. The public can be the ears and eyes of the community, and I ask concerned citizens to offer tips and information to my officers to help keep their neighborhoods safe.”
